This piece is inspired by Andy Warhol’s famous pop art. The idea was whether you should live your life overly-cautious like a cat who has nine lives but doesn’t want to lose one, or live everyday like it’s your last—like you only live once—as the popular acronym and aphorism YOLO suggests. The “YOLO” cat is last because it’s the last “life” out of the nine lives, and living recklessly is an afterthought for many with the “cat” mindset.
